The construction of a new freight port north of Nynäshamn, the Stockholm Norvik Port, was launched today, according to the Ports of Stockholm’s Authority. To facilitate the sustainable and efficient supply of goods to the region, Ports of Stockholm said it is building a new port for rolling goods and container traffic at Norvik.Additionally, Norvik Logistics and Business Park would be constructed adjacent to the port as part of the project.“Freight volumes are constantly increasing and the Stockholm Norvik Port is an important piece of the jigsaw in developing our ports to be able to handle the volumes and vessel sizes of the future,” Johan Castwall, Ports of Stockholm Managing Director, said.Nine out ten goods arrive by sea in Sweden, with many of them destined for the Stockholm region. The new port will make it possible to transport goods as close to their final destination as possible by sea, Ports of Stockholm’s Authority earlier said, adding that port is important for the establishment of an efficient, eco-friendly supply of goods to the Stockholm region. In April 2016, the Swedish Supreme Court issued a positive ruling by deciding not to allow permission for an appeal to be heard, marking the final hurdle prior to the launch of the construction of Nynäshamn’s Stockholm Norvik Port.Ports of Stockholm is expected to welcome the first vessel into the new port in about three years.

He has a year and a half left and he is happy at Chelsea and so is his family,” Fabregas told Radio Marca.“But in the end they are very personal decisions. BILLY JOE SAUNDERS has hit back at Chris Eubank Jr with a crude tweet after his old rival accused him of being a drugs cheat and a “bottle job”.Eubank Jr launched his attack after it emerged that Saunders, 30, revealed he would not be fighting Canelo Alvarez in September as he’s “not ready”.The pair have had a frosty relationship since Saunders handed Eubank Jr his first professional defeat in 2014Credit: News Group Newspapers LtdSaunders hit back in crude fashionAfter the news emerged, Eubank Jr, 30, took to Twitter to slam his old foe.He wrote: “Billy Bottle Job Saunders wont fight Canelo in two months??… I’m ready to go in 2 days!!! So a fight in September!? NO PROBLEM.”And this morning he weighed in again, referencing his 2016 bout with Gennady Golovkin that fell through due to financial issues. The tweet also took aim at Saunders’ video from March that brought him a suspension, after he appeared to give mock instructions on domestic violence. It read: “Eddie Hearn already told everyone why my fight with GGG didn’t happen.“Two months isn’t enough time for the drugs Billy Joe Saunders uses to get in shape, to leave his system, so he pulled out of the Canelo fight. Guess he’s just gota go back to beating up women again.” While there is no evidence to suggest that Saunders is doping, he chose to hit back in crude fashion. He wrote: “The only drugs I use is Viagra for when I dismantle your mum‘s f****.”Saunders was the recipient of a six-month suspension back in 2018, following a failed drugs test prior to his bout with Demetrius Andrade. He tested positive for banned stimulant oxilofrine, although stressed that it was the result of a “common decongestant nasal spray”.Saunders had been due to face Canelo Alvarez (pictured) in SeptemberCredit: Getty Images – GettySaunders, who handed Eubank Jr his first professional defeat back in 2014, sparked the war of words after revealing to The Athletic this week that not even a “billion pounds” could convince him to fight Alvarez before he is “ready”.He said: “I’m not ready September. You can say to me, ‘Billy Joe, a billion pounds, but you’re not ready and you’re going to get beat.’ I would say keep it.“Let me get ready, let me win and I will fight for free. I’m nobody’s stepping stone. I’m not another belt for Canelo. Related iStock/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) — President Donald Trump claimed Thursday that China has ordered its banks to stop doing business with North Korea — the rogue regime’s principal trading partner.“I’m very proud to tell you that, as you may have just heard moments ago, China, their central bank has told their other banks — that’s a massive banking system — to immediately stop doing business with North Korea,” Trump said at the United Nations alongside South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.“Again, I want to just say and thank President Xi of China for the very bold move he made today. That was a somewhat unexpected move, and we appreciate it.”The remarks came a short time after Trump signed an executive order aimed at companies and financial institutions that do business with North Korea. The remarks came a short time after Trump signed an executive order aimed at companies and financial institutions that do business with North Korea.“Foreign banks will face a clear choice to do business with the United States or facilitate trade with the lawless regime in North Korea,” Trump said.Trump argued that the new presidential action taken will “cut off sources of revenue that fund North Korea’s efforts to develop the deadliest weapons known to humankind.” Early this month, North Korea conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test to date, and last week it fired a missile over Japanese airspace. Abe welcomed the new sanctions enforced by the United States.According to Trump, the U.S. Treasury Department will also begin identifying new industries that it can target with strong sanctions, such as the manufacturing, fishing, and textiles industries.“For much too long, North Korea has been allowed to abuse the international financial system to facilitate funding for nuclear weapons and missile programs,” Trump said.Trump said the U.S. seeks a “complete denuclearization of North Korea.”The new sanctions from the Trump administration come two days after Trump told the United Nations that the U.S. would “totally destroy” North Korea if leader Kim Jong Un does harm to the U.S. or its allies.“The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,” Trump said Tuesday in his first address to the United Nations General Assembly.“Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime,” Trump said, using an epithet he has recently adopted to refer to Kim Jong Un.Trump had teased the announcement earlier in the day, during his bilateral meeting with President Moon, and told reporters to “stay tuned.”During that meeting, Moon praised Trump’s speech Thursday as “strong,” and said he believes it will “help contain North Korea.”“North Korea has continued to make provocations, and this is extremely deplorable, and this has angered me and our people,” President Moon said. “The United States has responded firmly and in a very good way.”“I’m happy you used the word deplorable,” Trump said, getting some laughs from the room. “I promise, I did not tell them to use that word.”“That’s been a very lucky word for me and many millions of other people,” Trump said, referencing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s once characterizing some of Trump’s supporters as “deplorable” during the election.Copyright © 2017, ABC Radio.
