Soldotna Snags One Of The 25 Finalists Spots For Levitt AMP Grant

first_imgFacebookTwitterEmailPrintFriendly分享The votes have been tallied and the City of Soldotna has snagged one of the 25 finalists spots for the 2020 Levitt AMP Grant. The Levitt review process is now underway, and we’ll announce the winners on December 20. Andrew Heuiser, Events & Programs Director for the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce: “It’s about making Soldotna Creek Park even more of a place that the community can gather. We have affectionately started calling it ‘Soldotna’s living room’ and I think that definitely rings true during the summer months.” Soldotna was one of 18 cities this year to win a $25,000 Levitt AMP Grant Award, which gives nonprofit organizations matching funds for a music series in their community. The mission is to celebrate the city’s diversity and changing demographics, bring people together through music and inject new life into an underused public space. After public voting determines the Top 25 finalists, the Levitt Foundation will then select the winning Levitt AMP grant recipients.
