McAllister confident City will bounce back

first_imgThe Robins slipped to a 4-1 loss away to West Brom on Wednesday night, which saw the Baggies return to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table. But for City it was only their third defeat of the campaign. They went on a ten-game unbeaten run after an opening day defeat to Leeds United, and then won 2-1 at home v Charlton to kick off a mini unbeaten streak after defeat to Luton Town. And it’s that kind of character which Assistant Head Coach McAllister wants to see again.“I think it’s important we put the West Brom result behind us,” he said. [It was a] difficult game away from home against the top team in the division, in my opinion, so we reviewed it, went through what we should have done better.”The coaches, the players discussed it on Thursday and we move forward, put it to bed and move forward. We are in great form at the minute, it’s how we react.“We reacted really well against Leeds after we lost, we went 10 unbeaten. Our second loss of the season was against Luton, we reacted really well against them.”last_img
